Music has the power to change the way people feel. The music you choose when you’re arranging a funeral can make people sadder than they already are, or can make them feel relaxed, can uplift them or even make them laugh.
Music is one of those things that people are usually very clear about. They know what they like and more importantly, they know what they don’t like. If you’re organising a funeral for someone you love, it’s important to know their musical preferences, after all, their funeral is about them.
Selecting church music for someone who was not religious at all, would not be serving their memory well. If the whole family liked country music, but the deceased did not, it might be best to leave the country music for some other family get-together.
We have a fully integrated sound system with speakers throughout our premises. We can play your selections from a family CD or other electronic format, or we can source selected tracks for you. We have a very wide range of music of all styles. If you would prefer live music, we can arrange bands, musicians, organists, pipers, singers, choirs and soloists for you.
