Many families tell me that they cannot remember who attended the funeral of their loved one. This is often because bereaved people go through a number of different stages after the death of someone close to them. One of these stages involves blocking out the pain of loss. We enter a type of ‘fog’, where our mind protects us from the shock of our loss by making events seem somewhat hazy. This is a beneficial thing in many ways, though it can become awkward if you forget who was there to help you through this difficult time.
We provide you with a customised Memorial Book which includes a collection of the names of people who attended the funeral. We endeavour to collect every name on arrival or as they leave the funeral. This is then given to you as a lasting tribute.
